Carlin Isles

Alma Future Foundation is proud to have Carlin Isles, US Olympic athlete as Ambassador for the foundation.

His impressive athletic career began in 2013 when he was signed by the Detroit Lions. Later Isles went on to become a US Olympic rugby player, and he has since then been recognized as the fastest Rugby player in the world.

His astounding success is that much more admirable given that it was hard fought against all odds. Carlin and his sister were taken away from their mother at a young age. They grew up in the broken foster care system, “It was brutal. I used to cry a lot. I mean, it just was devastating,” Carlin says. “I was like, ‘God, please get me out of here,’ because I knew if I stayed there, life would always be bad.”

The answer to Carlin and his sisters prayers came when they were 7 years old, in the form of Starlett and Charles Isles. They nurtured Carlin and provided an environment that allowed him and his younger sister to thrive.

We couldn’t have chosen a more inspirational ambassador to represent Alma Future Foundation. Carlin is living proof that with love and a supportive environment children are able to overcome adversity and accomplish incredible things.
